Visual Communication

Communication is Visual

Capstone Communication-March 28 (Final)
A big part of communication is also visual. Here is a picture I have taken from my yard. A visual aid can bring in the attention for an audience, to understand what is trying to be communicated. Pictures, colors, shapes and design all tell a story just as photography tells a story about life. Photography can also bring in 1,000 words to those that find purpose or an artistic reaction. What does this picture tell you, how does this image speak to you? Author Sarah Trenholm supports visual communication by stating that, "Visual aids should be subordinate to the ideas they are meant to illustrate". When it comes to media technology and using images for design, purpose and layout of a blog, it helps to convey an idea, a thought, a feeling, and the importance of how visual aids leave people with impressions.
